*Search and apply to over 5000 positions nationwide on SigmaTek?s website www.stcllc.com* Site Support Analyst - New York PURPOSE: Responsible for delivering superior 2nd level technical support services to local staff of in support of the overall objectives of the Information Technology Group. This position will be responsible for providing efficient problem resolution through both remote & desk-side activities to ensure appropriate SLA-based response and resolution to reported issues. ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provide technical expertise and end-user support in the area of Microsoft Windows Desktop, Remote Connectivity Platform and Server OS platforms Review problem tickets and respond to end-users appropriately and within established SLA and OLA standards; resolve open tickets in a timely and professional manner ensuring a positive client experience. Provide desktop and break/fix support Troubleshoot, research, and resolve escalated technical problems and incidents Research new industry technologies and recommend proactive solutions within the environment Act as local point of contact for administration and maintenance of servers, backups routines and network OS software Troubleshooting of local and network printers Ability to work on projects and meet timelines a necessary.

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Strong customer service; strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Ability to work and adapt in a dynamic environment and recognize priority issues, escalating accordingly. Flexibility in schedule to cover all shifts. Ability to work both independently or as part of a project group, with time constraints Extensive knowledge and experience with Windows Server/Desktop based technology including: o Windows OS (98, NT, 2000, XP, 2003) o Microsoft Active Directory o Hardware server/WS platforms including Dell, Compaq & HP o Microsoft Back Office applications such as SMS, Exchange and Terminal Server o Outstanding troubleshooting skills in WAN/LAN/Desktop situations o Remote connectivity tools o Experience with creating standards and Documentation o Macintosh OS 9 and 10 knowledge a plus o UNIX skills a plus but not mandatory o Microsoft Office Suite 2000-2003 o Troubleshooting of BlackBerry or working knowledge of BES PROBLEM SOLVING This position is presented with constant problem solving and decision-making challenges that require sound business judgment, strong analytical skills, decisiveness and leadership.df-tc
