Local Candidates to San Diego will be preferred
Windows 2000 Server, 3 years of Cold Fusion Server experience, PERL Scripting, and Content management/portal technologies.
Act in a high-level technical role by consulting with client and IT management in the resolution of highly complex, technical problems involving the creation of customer specific applications and their integration into existing computer systems. Upgrade and maintain the systems that employ scalable, advanced technologies and methods to integrate customer systems with existing systems, enabling the creation of new applications or expanding existing applications. Track the development and implementation of the customer specific application systems support infrastructure. Direct gathering of statistics to assist in determining hardware requirements and communication bandwidth to support projected transaction volumes and response time and system availability targets. May lead or direct the work of less experienced staff.


May take on the role of Release Engineer, which would require the following additional responsibilities:
Develop the build environment, the source code control system and the issue tracking systems. Proactively identify and implement procedures to streamline the build process which may drive the development and maintenance of an automated build process with automatic notification of build and unit test failure problems to responsible engineers. May assist operations management in making choices for source code management systems, and other development and testing tools. Knowledge of quality methods and procedures as well as PC, PVCS, Unix and scripting languages is required for successful performance in this role.

Cold Fusion, Sun Solaris, Oracle, IIS

. Advanced knowledge of Windows NT and Windows 2000 Server and Advanced Server.

. Advanced knowledge of IIS.

. Advanced knowledge of all Windows Desktop Server operating systems.

. Advanced knowledge of Internet WEB Servers, Firewalls, and Microsoft SQL.

. Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP to enable monitoring of network connectivity

. Advanced experience of System and Network Monitoring Tools.

. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

. Stay up to date and learn new technologies.

. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

. Ability to work an extended schedule as required to meet objectives.

. Excellent written skills required and the ability to work with programmers to document job processes and job flows

. Ability to mentor Jr. level person


Other desired skills:
