Site Support Specialist: Contract-direct position in the City of La Palma. Our client produces advanced control software and industrial automation systems. We are currently seeking candidates for Site Support Specialists. A self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, prepared to take on the challenges of the Site Support Specialist role. Beginning with a minimum of 5 years of related technical experience and backed by a related technical diploma. This individual should be knowledgeable of oil and gas refining; analog and digital control processing as well as basic customer service philosophies. Requirements include training or experience with: GUS and APP nodes, Local Control Network, Universal Control Network and Data hi-way system components. Additional requirements; experience with Windows 2000 and XP, Domain Controllers, network infrastructure and Cisco routers. Drawing on an ability to maintain strong customer focus and service orientation, this individual will provide system maintenance, as well as manage upgrades for TPS products and field instruments. High levels of customer satisfaction are required, while appropriately positioning our products and services, and identifying new sales opportunities. Must be willing to travel throughout the Los Angeles area and other locations as required.
