Siteminder/IdentityManager/PingFederate Administrator

Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate, contract opportunity for a Siteminder/IdentityManager/PingFederate Administrator to work for our highly-recognized client in the Charlotte, NC area.

General Responsibilities:

Integrate various Web based applications with Netegrity SiteMinder and Ping Federate.
Manage the technical aspects of a federation partnership between client and multiple vendors and partners from initial discussions to production deployment.
Provide all aspects of support for the Netegrity SiteMinder infrastructure.
Handle the overall administration and technical support of Netegrity Siteminder Single Sign On systems and Ping Federate infrastructure, ensuring acceptable and consistent levels of performance through optimization; oversee monitoring and design of tools to manage the environment effectively; apply all patches and system upgrades, perform configuration management of all associated software and hardware, and perform system integration testing of server operating systems, related utilities and hardware; work to ensure that effective data security, integrity, monitoring and recoverability procedures are in place at all times; serve as focal point for applications development/infrastructure teams for developing, configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and performing software administration for distributed applications; produce project plans and progress reports for management; follow rigorous system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management best practices, comply with internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other compliance related processes, and adhere to change control and problem management procedures.

Qualifications/Experience:

B.S./Master's Degree (MS) or Technical Institute Degree/Certificate in Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education, technical designations and work experience.
Approximately 5 plus years of related experience in IT functions
Access Management to include installation, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
Must have working experience with Ping Identity's Ping Federate product.
Must have a working knowledge of federation concepts and protocols with a strong focus on the OASIS SAML standards.
Actual implementation experience utilizing Ping Identity's Ping Federate product strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of Web Server and Web application platforms such as Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), Apache, WebLogic, and WebSphere.
Working knowledge of Unix based operating systems. Primarily Solaris 9/10 and Linux.
Knowledgeable with SunONE/Sun Java System Directory Server and Microsoft Active Directory as it applies to Web application security.
Some experience in Web application development a plus.
Understanding of the applications of SSL Certificates including securing Web and LDAP communications, XML document signing, and encryption a plus.
Strong background with all aspects of CA Siteminder
