Position Details
The Six Sigma Data Collection Manager is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the data collection activities for Six Sigma deployment. The Data Collection Manager also serves as the liaison between Six Sigma Black Belts/Green Belts and the data warehousing team by helping Black Belts/Green Belts establish business requirements and identify data sources for data collection activities. He/she is also responsible for establishing and managing the data collection process for Six Sigma, including helping direct the activities of Six Sigma data mining resources and ensuring service level agreements are met.

Experience/Skills
Bachelors Degree is required.
3 - 5 years management experience directing up to 15 full-time Six Sigma data mining resources across multiple geographies (5-10 direct reports and 5 indirect reports)
Previous experience managing data requirements.
Previous experience understanding of data sources coupled with technical experience using data warehouse or analytical tools for business purposes; knowledge of/experience in proprietary information systems (HR, Pharmacy, Electronic Marketing systems, SDIS).
Candidate must possess deep technology skills in data collection and analysis with the ability to translate business requirements into technical data requirements; knowledge of key data warehousing processes; proficient in the use of office automation tools (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Clarity, Interwise, and other Internet applications)
Very strong oral and written communication abilities; able to communicate to various levels of the organization and across geographies
Demonstrates flexible and dynamic analytical and deductive skills; able to drive results in tactical operations while directing principal Six Sigma support processes
Strong and effective team leadership skills with a proven ability to drive team of individuals toward a specified goal are essential in this role
