Description
The Technical Architect is responsible for analyzing functionality requirements, modeling software solutions, developing software, documenting, and participating in business development activities. The program involves new and exciting cutting edge technologies requiring an individual with creative and inventive problem solving skills. The problem areas will involve developing administrative solutions for web services using the WSDM technology, the ability for web services to bind based upon the session context, the ability to compress XML messages, and developing tactical applications for the DoD.

Experience/Skills
o Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering.

o 8+ years experience in full software lifecycle process.

o 3+ years of Object Oriented Programming development in Java, C# or C++

o 3+ years experience with J2EE servers

o 3+ years experience with UML

o 2+ years experience with web services or service oriented architecture

o Professional verbal and written communication skills

o Ability to mentor team members

o Willing to travel 25%

o Eligible to obtain a DOD clearance

o Graduate degree in a technical area is a plus

o Experience with DoD C2 or C4ISR systems

o Experience with SCRUM or Extreme Programming Agile Methodology
