Description
Our Client is currently seeking an Software Application Developer to support continued development of its J2EE-based hosted ASP application.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
As member of the Software Development team, contributes to the creation of new features in the various web portal solutions developed by us.
Designs and develops object-oriented software in the Java programming language.
Maintains and provides ongoing support of the existing code base.
Provides technical support to Customer Service personnel.
Shares on-call application support with other members of the team.

We develop and maintain a J2EE web application (EJBs, JavaBeans, JSPs,
etc) running under Weblogic Server v9.2. the database we use is Oracle 10g.


Skills & Qualifications:
Strong ability to design and develop object-oriented solutions.
Extended experience with the Java programming language
Knowledge of J2EE and associated concepts.
Skilled in JDBC development.
Extremely detail-oriented, creative, dependable and trustworthy, with positive attitude.
Strong analytical and communication skills are needed, as well as an ability to multitask, collaborate, and work well within a team environment.

Preferred Skills
Background in developing software under BEA Weblogic Server is preferred.
Experience with the C programming language is a plus.
Knowledge of Oracle and Oracle SQL*Plus language preferred.

Experience:
3 to 5 years experience as application developer using the Java programming language. Experience in (or strong knowledge of) J2EE methodologies is required.
