Description
Team is recruiting for a top level telephone support person expereienced assisting end users with proprietary software functionality.
Supports and trains users on the use customer applications
Responds quickly to user questions, monitors the system for error or support related issues, and communicates all operations issues to the operations management and technical issues to the IT department
Assists in the roll-out of system upgrades and updates training material as needed
Recommends new procedures when required to more efficiently manage each application.
Provides technical support and training to staff and coworkers as required.

EDUCATION/TRAINING
Work requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a computer related field, or equivalent coursework, technical training, and work experience. Requires 4-5 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience with MS SQL Server 2000/2005, Transact-SQL, Stored Procedures, DTS, and Crystal Reports. Working experience with VB6, Visio, Office 2003 desired.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to the IT department, corporate staff, and top management.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Attention to detail a must.
