  • Software Architects incorporate strategic initiatives into department, business unit, or company-wide technical planning for platform, application, and skill set infrastructure. They advise senior management on broad strategic issues relative to internal and external technical advances. Software Architects perform a principal role in defining technology strategy based on market, technical, and competitive analysis affecting the company as a whole. They research, recommend, estimate, prototype, and/or initiate the development of or introduction of ""next-generation"" products, methodologies, technologies, etc. Software Architects provide expertise and consulting on multiple platforms, system integration, and compatibility to senior management and other departments.Requires: *
  • 8 years related experience preferred 10 years related analysis, design, and new technologies experience. *
  • Experience with Database processing and/or data transformation, Exstream Dialogue, IBM DataStage, AFP, C, Java, Perforce, ClearCase a plus.df-tc
