Position Overview

This position involves working with a Fortune 100 leading software company to provide consulting services relating to software asset management. In this role a SAM representative will discuss with clients their current software licensing situation, assist in the analysis of their software inventory, provide recommendations, and supply appropriate resources for resolution.

Position Responsibilities
? Initiate conversations with customers in order to assist them in the purchase and licensing of software appropriate for their business.
? Discuss with customers the importance of Software Asset Management and encourage them to complete a Software Inventory Report.
? Increase customer satisfaction and create a positive experience for the customer while increasing our ability to identify non-compliant software implementations.
? Report findings of the Software Inventory Report and supply the appropriate resources to the customer.
? Explain and answer questions regarding complex software licensing concepts.

Qualification
? Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
? 1-2 years sales experience is a plus.
? Strong communication skills.
? Demonstrated ability to take ownership of problems and issues through to completion.
? Effective problem solving skills.
? Ability to effectively manage projects.
? Ability to work independently to achieve goals.
? Ability to effectively research and gather information.
? Ability and willingness to learn the fundamentals of complex software applications.

Education Requirements
? BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
