Description
Our client is a high-visibility software company seeking an organized, proactive candidate to manage large database systems to track software bugs. Issues logged in the systems need to be tracked to resolution and reported appropriately. Candidates must be experienced in Product Studio and Team Foundation Server.

Day-to-day process flow:
  • Identify incoming bugs for service team attention in PS and TFS
  • Mark for triage those that require attention
  • Transfer triaged bugs as needed
  • Send notification to the assigned owners of their new bugs
  • Follow up with bug fix / bug comment from assigned owners tracking ETA for resolution
  • Resolve bugs per the follow-up communication - in both systems
  • Set up, run and manage reports to communicate daily status reports and open issues - includes updating existing wikis tracking process
  • Conduct historical bug analysis to define resolution and high-priority fixes

Experience/Skills
  • 1-2 years of program management experience
  • Proficiency in Office applications required, specifically Excel and Word
  • Must have experience with Product Studio, Team Foundation Server
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Portal Server
  • Knowledge/background in software industry products/services/applications
  • Strong leadership skills, and demonstrated experience managing programs with varying degree of complexity
  • Strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills
  • Ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues
  • Analytical skills and the ability to understand concepts and situations that pass by many others
  • Excellent communication skills to all levels, must be fluent in English
  • Must be a detailed-oriented, team player
  • Bachelor's Degree
