Description
DESCRIPTION:Experienced, highly capable StarTeam/SCM technical consultant. The consultant will be a member of the SCM team but will also have daily interaction with web developers, server and network administrators,QA testers, and test environment support staff. Some of the responsibilities include: Design and implementation of a distributed StarTeam server configuration to support load balancing,performance, and disaster recovery requirements. Management of StarTeam upgrade projects, including setup of an upgrade test environment,coordination of testing efforts, and implementation of both server and client software. Identification of software configuration management process and structural weaknesses, and leadership in resolving issues and implementing best practices. Implementation of repository-wide reporting capability in StarTeam. Development of automated tools that extend StarTeam functionality and improve SCM and code deployment processes. Mentoring and training of staff in StarTeam and configuration management best practices.
