Description
Robert Half Technology has an exciting opportunity for a Software Configuration/Release Engineer with 5+ years of experience with one of our clients. The Software Configuration/Release Engineer should have excellent communication and collaboration skills as this is a tightly knit team environment. The Software Configuration/Release Engineer should also be well versed in managing and coordinating software configuration and release preparations of the product for QC/UAT/Productiondf-tc

Experience/Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following: •Have a BS in Computer Science or related fields •Have a minimum of 5 years of working experience with at least 2 years on Software Configuration management •Experience on different software configuration management tools •Experience on different build tools •Experience in branching models and release process •Experience of working on web application •Knowledge of software engineering processes and standards such as CMM, ISO9000-3 •Familiar with MSSQL (Microsoft SQL Server), and Oracle •Experience with Web application development and deployment is a plus •Working experience as a programmer is a plus •Experience with Visual Studio Tools (VB and ASP) and VSS is a plus •Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server is a plus •Have the ability to evaluate and determine the direction to be taken to achieve the end result •Be task oriented, able to finish projects, precise, and perseverant •Possess strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to work in team environment.Please only apply to this position if you have recent relevant experience.
