This position is for the world's largest software company, headquartered in Redmond, Washington.

Client's Server team is looking for Software Design Engineers who are passionate about mobile technologies and computer networking. Our team is about to deliver a v1 product for managing mobile devices and providing secure-reliable network connectivity for mobile devices which has already acclaimed a lot of praise from the industry. We have already engaged a large number of customers and partners in enterprise space that are willing to bet their business on our product.

Our team is responsible for providing secure VPN connections for mobile devices to access corpnet over insecure public network. The work involves lots of technical challenges and cutting-edge networking technology. In the v2 of the product (work to start early '08) we are planning a lot of cool innovations on top of what we have already built. We are also planning to apply good engineering practices (like unit testing etc.) to improve the product quality and testability.

Job Requirements: Candidate should have at least BS degree in Computer Science or related fields with 3 to 5 years industry experience in working on high performing server products.
Strong C/C++ coding skills are required. Experience in networking technologies (IPsec, VPN, NDIS) etc. are plus but not mandatory.

Although we are part of mobile division, the position requires developer on Windows Desktop platform. So no need to filter resumes on criteria like developers in embedded systems and mobile devices. Bottomline is we require:

1. strong developer in C

2. Independent person -- can pick up very complex and large piece of code on his own with minimal help.

3. Should have experience in developing reliable, scalable robust server software.

4. Should be a good team player. Should be willing to work on maintainace of legacy code.

5. Prior experience in Windows Networking is a plus.
