We have an immediate need for a Software Design Engineer V.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary:
SOFTWARE TEST/QA ENGINEER
Evaluates and tests retail Website software and user-experience to verify that Websites function according to specifications and standards by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Tests Web software to compare to specifications and documentation.

-Identifies, analyzes, and documents defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in Web software functions, outputs, online screens, and content.

-Establishes benchmarks for program efficiency in operating and response times.

-Creates test cases and test data.

-Creates and executes automated test scripts using testing software programs.

-Installs, maintain, and uses testing software programs.

-Responds to inquiries from developers and technical support regarding functions and operations of software programs.

-Contributes to establishment of standards and procedures for program design and testing.

-Recommends program improvements or revisions to programmers and system analysts.

-Reviews client PC and server logs and reports to identify program processing errors and possible improvements.

-Coordinates testing by users and third parties.

-Identifies program variances from standards and suggests modifications to conform.

-Conducts compatibility tests with other software programs, hardware, multiple operating systems, and network environments.

-Documents, tracks, and communicates test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from four-year college or university plus two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

-Advanced computer knowledge and experience (to be determined based on specific assignment).

Additional Information:
-MUST be experienced with modern software testing methodologies.
-MUST be experienced with QA-testing complex Website user-experience flows and test-cases.
-Candidates QA/testing qualifications will be vetted during screening.
