Description
Take your extensive experience as a SET2 to the next level, working with a tightknit team for a customer communications product line in Seattle in this contract-to-hire position.



Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing comprehensive test plans from engineering discussions and functional specifications
  • Evaluating and implementing test automation strategies and tools/methods
  • Designing and developing automated test scripts
  • Investigating test failures
  • Writing, implementing, and reporting status for automated and manual testing
  • Defect reporting and tracking

Experience/Skills

  • 3+ years experience in QA/Test
  • Perl, Ruby, Java, JUnit or equivalent scripting languages
  • SOAP / API test experience a plus
  • Strong working familiarity with Java applications, Oracle databases, and Unix environments
  • Very strong development, testing and process skills
  • Knowledge of QA principles and practical application of those principles
  • Ability to prioritize and remain focused in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Test tool scripting experience
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Working knowledge of XML
  • Excellent communications and organizational skills
  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or commensurate experience
