Description
Provide enterprise-wide software development and modificaiton for an E-Government initiative.



Specific expereience required in J2EE application servers (i.e.; Weblogic, Iplanet[Sun1], Websphere, JBoss), Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), and Unified Modeling Language (UML).



Knowledge of J2EE patterns and J2EE presentation servers (i.e.; Tomcat, Apache, etc.) a plus.

General Position Description
Researches, designs, develops and/or modifies enterprise-wide software. Involved in planning of system development and deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections. May include security, quality control, applications or systems software development.

Typical Minimum Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
