Position: Software Development Project Lead
Location: Arlington Heights IL 60004
Salary: Salary $80-110K
Shift 7am to 5pm M-TH
US Citizens and Green Cardholder only

Job Description:
A candidate for this position must have at least 5-10 years experience in project management or system management experience in a systems development environment. This job requires the candidate to be the main project leader of a development project team that has approximately 6-12 development programmers, design technicians and requirements designers. This candidate must have experience managing a group of this size with seasoned professionals. This candidate must have experience with SQL Server. Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Basic Net, and Visual SourceSafe. The development project entail rewriting many applications from a mainframe/legacy system to a NT based system. The project has many milestones by has at least three year anticipated timeline. After the completion of this project there will be many opportunities to work with the Systems It department. The System IT department currently has over 25 employees. This candidate will have room for professional growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

" Must be able to operate in as service environment: Client requests are demanded in short time frames and will required effective and timely approaches to solutions. This will required additional effort beyond the normal workday.
" Must have take charge attitude and assume responsibility: Event through work effort cross functional areas the individual must naturally assume responsibility and concern for the whole effort so that the effort continues through completion.
" Must be effective in communications: Detail about the effort must log into the appropriate documentation forms. In addition there will be many daily meetings and profess reports required for various levels of management. The candidate will control and manage all the work on the project. The project deadlines will be the responsibility of the candidate.
" Must be willing to perform multiple functions that will include application coding, testing implements, and production follow up.
" Must be able to manage 6 - 12 seasoned professional while maintaining a production environment for certain applications.

Job Qualifications:

" Must have at least 5 - 10 years project management or system management experience.
" Strong relationship building skills, reliable, quick learner, will organize, decisive and creative.
" Must be able to proficiently schedule resources and write progress reports.
" Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.
" Must be familiar wit Microsoft Office products.
