Description
Adecco Technical is currently seeking a Software Developer for one of our clients in Irvine, CA. This is a direct-hire position. This position will be required to develop new product platforms in support of the Voicemail and Voice Logger applications to supplement our database platform which is a windows-based application that utilizes multi-threading programming and operates in a client-server environment. Additional development is necessary to enhance our current platforms to support the existing system functionality of our original platforms as well as develop new capabilities that are possible with these newer platforms. In addition to new development programming, this position will be required to develop the Product and Design Specifications for any new development. Additional responsibilities will include the performance of functional testing of the code for quality assurance purposes as well as providing sustaining engineering and support responsibilities for both the Voicemail and Voice Logger platform. Responsibilities: Write the new product functional specifications for the Voicemail platform and its architecture, followed by program development of the Voicemail system Upon completion of the Voicemail platform, this person will write the new product functional specifications for the Voice Logger platform and its architecture, followed by program development of the Voice Logger system Requirements: BS in Computer Science or related field 5 years of experience in software development Must have knowledge oif C, C++, MFC, Win32, ODBC, SQL, and Java in a Windows environment. Program editing knowledge required using Visual Studio and Visual.Net. Network application and web programming as well as relational database systems experience are required. Service application programming, IVR, PBX/ACD switch knowledge is a plus. Must be able to work independently and be a team player. Must have the ability to get along with co-workers and supervisors. Only local candidates will be considered.
