Description
Experienced programmer with an B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science to define, design, implement, and test workflow software applications delivered via software as a service. The employee will perform a set of Agile development processes including design and implementation using product backlog/sprint backlog. In addition the employee will be responsible for creating unit, functional, and integration tests using a TDD (test driven development) automated test framework.
Knowledge of the Ruby programming language, the Rails web platform and framework and the interactions between the two to create dynamic easy to use web applications is desired but we have had success training sharp developers with experience in other languages. The employee will use the latest web based techniques for developing user interfaces. Experience with AJAX, RJS templates, and Javascript to generate highly responsive user interfaces is desired. In addition, experience with high availability scalable web infrastructure and deployment is required.
