Description
United Toll Systems needs a Software Developer/Engineer
for its Wetumpka, AL location for current and future
development of state of the art technology
Candidate selected will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Maintaining existing Visual Basic code
  • Analyzing, programming and designing for new software and technologies
  • Programming /coding with emphasis on ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, ADO.Net, VBA, C, C++, SQL
  • Programming interfaces for serial, network, machine control devices, ladder logic, PLC or machine programming and image processing technology
  • Debugging and implementation of current and new software
  • Systematic approach and appropriate documentation of program code
  • End-user documentation for resulting software products
  • Setting up and configuring components in a Microsoft environment
  • Familiarity and ability to work with Visual Studio.NET architecture
  • Familiarity and understanding of image storage, retrieval, compression and manipulation

    Experience/Skills
    • US Master Degree in Computer Science or related field
    • US Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Science
    • Candidate must have 3 years progressively more responsible experience in software development and analysis
    • Experience and background in VB,C#,C++,ASP,ASP.NET,VB.NET,ADO.NET,SQL, Windows 32-bit programming
    • Working familiarity with Visual Studio.Net architecture
    • Good experience in 3 tier development/n-tier development
    • Sound working knowledge of COM/COM+ development
