We have an immediate need for a Software Developer with C# and other Microsoft Developing tools.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We have a Fortune 100 client that is looking for a consultant with the following skill set.

The Candidate will be a member of the Brokerage Information Technology staff supporting Wachovia Securities businesses. Full system lifecycle required including development, test, and implementation of highly robust and reliable solutions. This position will also include working in collaboration with developers in other groups to ensure that the applications adhere to corporate standards and technologies.

The candidate will be expected to follow standard development methodologies and practices. Responsibilities will include: Analysis, design and architecture, development, and implementation of new Brokerage initiatives using C# and ASP.NET. Support of Brokerage distributed applications including on-call production support.

Candidate must possess or demonstrate: Good oral and written English communication skills, A team player attitude and must demonstrate an understanding of OO principles and practices. 8+ years overall IT experience including database development, architecture and design, and distributed applications development.

Candidates possessing the following are preferred: Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Microsoft development technologies with 3+ years experience using C# / .NET. ASP.NET/C# and an understanding of HTTP, HTML, JavaScript are required. Component & Object Oriented Development and an ability to understand and write UML models is preferred.

Candidate must be able to contribute in all layers of development, testing and implementation. Experience with IBM MQ Series and WebSphere Workflow and/or Actuate report development is a plus. 2+ years Brokerage industry experience preferred.

Education: Bachelors degree and 5+ years of related IT experience required, Graduate level degree in technical field preferred.
