SKILL LEVEL: One position, mid-senior level. This is a 6 month contract position that will most likely get extended. This company requires background checks and credit checks for all employees. The best personality for this position will be someone who was an independent consultant for a long time and is really assertive. This person cannot be afraid to speak up and give opinions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will work in building the next version of the DocHolliday software product. This version is a commercial loan product based upon the original DocHolliday software. The product is built in VB.NET, uses Microsoft SQL Server 2003, and is a 3-tier product.

Candidate will be building the core backbone of the product using VB.NET. He/she will make significant changes to the existing version to include many more business units. Team development is done here using Visual Sourcesafe. It will be built directly from good requirements. Candidate must be prepared to work under aggressive timelines.

Experience/Skills
REQUIREMENTS:
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 5+ years overall software development
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 3+ years of .NET experience (VB.NET preferred)
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 MUST have 3 years SQL Server or RDBMS database experience.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Must have good attitude and be willing to work alongside a senior team lead.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 They would like to see Web Services experience, not just using them but creating web services in software.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Experience with INFOGISTICS product, which is an add-in component, is preferred.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Any ACTIVE REPORTS experience is preferred.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Must have good enterprise experience, not homegrown applications, that is, distributed across a large enterprise.

PAY RATE: $35-40 per hour

MAJOR SELLING POINTS: Client is a nationwide company. This is a contract position, if the contractor does an excellent job, they may get the opportunity to work on another client project or even to relocate to another client location.
