Description
Assist in design, implementation and maintenance of enterprise solutions. Products deployed are web-based, distributed and/or standalone applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpret end-user business requirements to develop and/or modify technical design specifications.
Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Code and successfully perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution as well as compliance to the business and technical requirements.
Participate in structured technical and functional walkthroughs of specifications and programming logic with project team members.
Update release management software to record/schedule software modifications and upgrades.
Store and version code in corporate source repository.
Create release builds utilizing corporate standard build tool.
Consult with network engineers and development team members to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational /performance requirements of the overall system.
Use system traces and debugging tools for problem determination and system tuning.
Facilitate production application support/troubleshooting with Tier 1 desktop support and network engineers as needed.
Provide Tier 2 production application support during business hours and during rotating 24 X 7 on-call schedule
Participate in acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are met.
Participate with technical architect in development standards definition.
Study assigned training materials technical journals and procedures, and trade journals on software packages and programming languages to enhance current skills.
Identify and/or clarify issues impeding development progress.

Experience/Skills
Experience with VB .NET, ASP .NET, classic ASP. (required)
Experience working with HTML/DHTML, XML/XSL (required)
Web Application Development (required)
Experience in development of graphical interfaces (required).
Knowledge of SQL (required)
Experience working with data retrieval from SQL Server 7.0 or 2000 including stored procedure, trigger construction and optimization. (required).
Experience with DTS packages (desired)
Experience with C# and/or T-SQL (desired)
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and multi-tasking capabilities (required)
Knowledge of Web Services and server components (required)
Mentor/collaborate with other developers (required)
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.(required)
Knowledge of Windows 2000/XP operating systems (required).
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop application software (required).
