My client, a St. Louis based company creating sophisticated communication products, is looking for a Software Developer.

SCOPE OF OPPORTUNITY
Member of a team that performs all tasks associated with the full system development life cycle including analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of our product.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This resource will assist in overall maintenance and optimization. Skilled in both new development and maintenance, this resource will maintain the existing applications as well as new application development.
Skilled in both database and application programming tools, this engineer would take systems-based approach, improving the overall system as they went about their daily tasks.df-tc

Experience/Skills
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a Bachelors of Sciences in Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum aggregate development experience - 3 Years using C, C++, and/or C#.
Strong knowledge of database programming with C derivative using RDBMS such as Oracle and/or MS SQL Server.
In addition, the ideal candidate should express strong support for design and documentation of solutions as well as implementation.
Strong organization skills are required.
Good communication skills are essential.
Experience with customer facing applications is desired.
Experience in performance tuning of client-server applications is desirable.
Experience in a structured test and release management environment is desired.
Experience with Windows and/or NT/2000 development environment is desired.
Works equally well independently and in a team environment.
Experience with the following is desired: PL-SQL and Oracle, Profiling Tools, Database Access Tools (i.e., Spotlight, Toad) and Visual Source Safe, ClearCase, Design Tools such as Rational Rose, Visio
