Our software developers are responsible for making our business plans a reality via our Web properties at 89glass.com, Glass.net, and QualitySmith.com, all of which are top results in the major search engines. Our codebase includes PHP and more recently Ruby, taking advantage of the Ruby on Rails development framework to improve our code quality and time-to-market.

We rely heavily on our communication skills at all levels of the company, and the software developers are no exception. You will often find yourself across the table from a business person, discussing our latest business needs and the best way to implement them on our websites. We rely on our developers to shine under these circumstances.

Our people are our product and we choose them carefully. We look for attitude and aptitude over traditional training and experience. Our organizational structure is still fairly flat, with all employees no more than three reports from the President. Financial reporting is shared with all employees, as they are all stakeholders in the company through a cash profit-sharing plan.
