Description
Ajilon Consulting is seeking a Software Developer with demonstrated expertise in C++ programming in a Unix environment (strong preference for Linux). As a key player in a Cheminformatics group, you will be required to implement and deploy three dimensional molecular analysis tools, to implement or license a library to support genetic algorithms and genetic programming, and to design and implement applications based on that library. A significant portion of the project will involve deploying and optimizing developed software on a large scale Linux cluster, so any experience with Linux clusters/farms is highly desirable.

Experience/Skills
Though not required skills, experience with web services, open-source licensing, scientific computing, evolutionary computing, and design of chemical libraries would be pluses. Experience with conformer generation, pharmacophore mapping and other 3D methods and techniques are other assets, as is a background in chemistry or computational chemistry.

We anticipate the project lifecycle to be between 9-12 months.
