As an SDET on the team, your responsibilities will include writing test specs, design test cases, design and implement robust test tools and automation in order to find product defects. You need to be passionate about technology, highly motivated, self disciplined, and detail oriented. You will interact closely with other software engineers and program managers so good communication and collaboration is essential. You'll likely interact with many different partner teams within Microsoft, some in different geographical locations. A willingness to go above and beyond the expectations set for you is central to your success in this position. In summary, these will be your responsibilities:

Provide feedback on key user scenarios, functional and technical designs, and specifications.
Write test specifications, procedures and cases.
Carryout product testing according to test plan.
Creating and integrating test tools into test infrastructure.
Design and implement test automation tools and solutions.
Own end-to-end testing for one feature area, identify product defects and work with PM and dev to improve the quality for the feature.

Qualifications:

2+ years of product development and testing experiences.
Experiences with Embedded devices, Services software, Graphics rendering platforms highly desirable.
Working experience with C/C++/C#.
Able to work independently or with a team with minimal supervision.
Strong coding, testing and problem solving skills.
Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
A BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required.

Working knowledge of test methodologies and techniques.
Familiar with Object Oriented design patterns and test-driven development.df-tc
