The online ad market is expected to grow to $20B a year. With the right software and ideas we can tap that market and be the top money maker! On the Ad Delivery Engine & Online Store team, we need engineers to design and implement a distributed, fast and highly available system, capable of dealing with an ever-growing data volume; people who can write solid, high performance C++ software, used in a system that quickly consider 100 million ads and display the best ones. This is a V1 product, and we are looking for highly motivated senior C/C++ developers with creative, inquisitive and explorative minds. DAY to DAY DESCRIPTION: ?? Write C/C++/assembly programs for testing compilers, assemblers, dissemblers. ?? Write C/C++ programs to test incremental linkers, C++ run-time library, STL. ?? Write Perl scripts for compiler QA requirements. ?? Analyze results from static analysis tools for C/C++ code. ?? Write C/C++ code to test compiler optimization and code generation algorithms. ?? Write C/C++/assembly programs to test RISC instruction scheduling algorithms. ?? Write assembly language programs for MIPS, ARM, and x86 architectures. ?? Decipher the structure of object and executable file formats COFF, PE, ELF. ?? Write C/C++ code to investigate register-allocation based on graph coloring. ?? Write C/C++ code to test compiler data alignment behavior. ?? Write C/C++ code for testing IEEE 754 floating-point standard. ?? Write C/C++ code to test stack unwinding for ANSI/ISO C++ exception handling.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in algorithms and data structures, knowledge and expertise in the various IO mechanisms provided by Windows and ways to exploit them, strong skills in managing the CPU and disk cache to efficiently utilize them and good knowledge of the networking protocols and communication technologies for communication across process and machine boundaries. Experience developing on 64 bit platform will be a plus.
