Our users buy Windows Mobile devices so that they can manage their emails, calendar, contacts and tasks easily through a rich mobile experience and Outlook Mobile is the team that owns that experience from end to end. Millions of Windows Mobile customers all around the world use, every day, what we build in this team.

The Outlook Mobile team is looking for an experienced developer to help build an exciting, new market-changing technology which delivers mail, calendar, contacts and other data instantly over-the-air to devices throughout the world. You will help design and build this new service end-to-end, which will then be rolled out and deployed globally. In building this new offering, you will leverage established technologies such as Microsoft Exchange server and Windows Mobile DirectPush, as well as implementing an entirely new set of functionality on the Windows Mobile client. You will have the opportunity to work on the overall end-to-end experience for the service, including areas such as device UI, protocol design, and the overall system architecture. This is a unique opportunity to contribute a major new Window Mobile product offering from inception to creation.

Candidates must have a track record as a developer delivering complete, high-quality design and implementation and an aptitude for driving features across divisions and groups. Technical passion, cross-group partnership skills, and aptitude for design are the most important competencies. Prior experience with Exchange or Windows Mobile is not required, but may be helpful. This position requires 2 years of experience as a developer driving detailed feature design on a commercial product.

Responsibilities
Deliver state of the art user experiences on a brand new Windows Mobile service
Effectively build and deliver on a v1 product
Intense collaboration with partners such as Exchange, CE and Windows Live

Qualifications include the following:
2+ years of relevant software development experience in C/C++ and Object Oriented Design.
This product will involve working closely with internal and external teams so good collaboration and communication skill are required.
Strong technical problem solving skills
Candidates must also have experience shipping software products through complete product cycle.
Work with Windows Mobile or equivalent mobile operating systems and experience building mobile applications is desirabledf-tc
