Description
Los Angeles based company is seeking a Software Development Manger that has strong blend of technical and management skills and has the ability to mentor and grow a strong development team. The ideal candidate will have proven team building and supervisory skills and must be approachable and able to serve as a technical resource to other team members. Dot Com experience is preferable.

You will be managing and developing a CD based magazine incorporating time dependent authentication into a web-based streaming video content deliver system. Systems Integration and Large scale website experience is a MUST. This site receives (500k - 1M visitors a day), so you must understand the implications and problems of large database tables, data normalization, database replication and data turning issues.

If that's not enough, the right person for the job must be fully capable of evaluating and estimating the loads of various design concepts before they are coded. And must have experience with large scale Streaming Video solutions (content management and delivery)

Experience/Skills
The technical environment is FREESD and MACOSX. Skills required are; PHP programming, MYSQL database Administration, Web site architecture and Systems Integration.
