SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TEST ENGINEER SUMMARY If you are passionate about system and application performance, this position is for you! Immediate need is for a Software Developer in a test environment. This position requires strong experience in the areas of software development, test engineering and test automation. . DUTIES -Assist in establishing overall direction for effective testing and automation of web services across a variety of environments. -Developing and maintain automated test infrastructure and white and black box tests that run within the test infrastructure, as well as functional and performance test scenarios. -Requires the ability to provide technical leadership and drive issues by working closely with development engineers. . QUALIFICATIONS: -BS in Computer Science or equivalent. -6+ years of overall software quality assurance and development experience, with exposure to the full product development cycle. Experience designing and implementing effectual test automation. -Fluent in Java, test scripting languages, and SQL. Significant experience with Object Oriented language concepts, methodologies, and implementations. XML a plus. -4+ years of test automation experience with commercial test tool and automation packages, including significant experience utilizing Mercury Interactive QTP, WinRunner, TestDirector, LoadRunner, and VBA. -Experience writing integration and unit tests using JUnit. Knowledge of PushToTest, JTest, JProbe, enterprise-level distributed applications testing, ANT, CVS, Hibernate, static testing tools, and requirement, defect, and configuration management tools a plus, -Understanding of Windows server and desktop operating systems: XP, Windows 2000, and NT. Windows Server 2003 and AIX experience is a plus.
