Experience/Skills
- 1+ years .NET (C#, ASP. NET, ADO.NET)
- 3+ years MS SQL Server 2000
- 2+ years XML, XSL, XSD, HTML
- Visual Basic 6.0, ASP, and COM+ experience a plus.
- Effective communicator to senior developers and development managers
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Must have a sense of priority and good judgment
- A willingness to accommodate a rapidly changing development environment (can adapt quickly)

Business Requirements Analysis:
- Identifies and translates customer requirements into key design principles and system characteristics.
- Sets up feedback mechanisms/ procedures, for new system development to identify future problems and opportunities.
- Performs appropriate needs analysis to determine the most strategic changes for customer to make (including a -case for action- that identifies purpose and scope).
- Develops a clear, complete understanding of customer needs and problems (e.g., through careful listening, probing, encouraging or summarizing).
- Understands and applies the basic principles of process analysis, mapping, and modeling.
System Development and Implementation
- Identifies and describes key transaction characteristics (inputs, processes, outputs, volumes, etc.).
- Accurately translates functional requirements into detailed module specifications and database design.
- Demonstrates the ability to write clear and concise technical documentation based on defined standards.
- Applies specific criteria and standards to new application roll-out.
Technical Problem-Solving
- Identifies correct information for decision-making and problem solving.
- Demonstrates persistence and attention to detail in resolving problems.
- Documents and applies lessons learned from previous problem-solving efforts (by self-and others) to new problems.
- Accurately identifies, logs and tracks defects/bugs/problems to ensure they are resolved and that methods of resolution are specified for future reference.

Education and Experience:
- An undergraduate degree is required.
- Equivalent experience can be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Microsoft Certifications a plus
