Position will be responsible for working with project manager for phasing and planning of implementations.

Position will need to determine technical options and work with the development team to evaluate how/which technologies to deploy to meet business requirements.

Working with the project manager, understand the conceptual business architecture, map this to a technical architecture, define and document technical requirements, and phase and plan the implementation of the architecture.

Translate business requirements to functional requirements. Document functional requirements.

Create and document design to meet functional requirements.

Understand and resolve design questions and issues.

Work with development team to evaluate technical alternatives to business requirements and recommend optimal solutions.

Experience/Skills
**PREFER LOCAL CANDIDATES**
3 to 5 years of experience

Ability to capture and document functional project requirements.

Ability to map functional requirements to design.

Ability to capture and document high level and detailed project design.

Must be able to multi-task across many projects/issues (~ 10-12 projects) and multiple simultaneous issues resolution processes.

Problem solving across multiple projects and ability to prioritize work effectively.

Experience with business intelligence tools and knowledge of BI tool capabilities.

Experience working with large data warehouse environment.

Ability to team with other technology providers (data modelers, DBAs, developers, information security, UNIX technical services, etc) to explore and evaluate technical options.

Ability to gain consensus and approval of design.

Ability to guide the build out of the design.
