Looking for a Software Engineer to develop high quality software solutions for consumer electronics products! The Software Engineer will provide leadership and innovation through the entire software life cycle. Previous experience programming in a commercial software development organization, with demonstrated proficiencies in building object-oriented, event-driven, database-driven, scalable enterprise software solutions that will excite customers. Requirements: BS Computer Science; MS Preferred 5+ years of experience which includes: - Proficient use of C++ in a UNIX environment / LINUX preferred - Use of object-oriented programming techniques to manage relational databases - Demonstrated proficiencies in additional languages- Java, C# and web development a plus - Knowledge of design patterns, OO methodologies, event driven programming, multi-threaded programming, PC hardware - Open source development (kernel builds/config, profilers, memory leak tools, etc) - System level programming a plus. (Device drivers, protocols, etc) - Experience working in a small growing company or a company where candidate has demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to change. - Excellent communication skills (to communicate written and verbal ideas that are easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences) - Highly reliable and organized person that is detail oriented - Creative problem solver - Proven experience in working independently and collaborating with a team to develop and track project schedules To be considered you must complete a brief questionnaire.
