Millennium Consulting is searching for a Software Engineer on a contract basis who would be responsible for the design, development testing and implementation of a new Insurance (Policy, Claims and Billing) applications in a VB, ASP, XML, SQL Server environment. Requires - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience), with a minimum of 4 years of software development experience using Visual Basic 6.0 and ASP. Strong knowledge, understanding and experience with XML and web technologies Experience in understanding, interpreting, and creating software design documents Experienced with SQL Server 2000 (approx. 3-5 yrs experience) Experience in team based software development using software configuration management systems and source control systems Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to handle multiple projects at a time Millennium Consulting is an Information Technology professional services firm, providing technology-consulting services to Fortune 1000, middle market and emerging organizations.
