Description
Our client located in NY city is seeking talented Software Engineer who will help develop software and web services dedicated to solving critical problems facing creators and buyers of digital imagery.Responsibilities:1. Collaborate with CTO and engineering team on requirements, conventions, architecture and implementation of application modules. 2. Design, code, and test asp.net applications, custom controls, client applications and components in C#, JavaScript, Perl, and other languages. 3. Design/implement database schema, stored procs, and data access layers, and optimize them. 4. Take ownership of projects from requirements gathering through implementation and QA. 5. Optimize components for our large-scale, high-traffic environments.

Requirements:

Requirements:1. At least 5 years web and client/server development experience, most recently in C#, and possess a deep C++ and/or Java background.2. Experience building large-scale content and commerce sites with ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C#, and relational databases. 3. Proven experience in database design and implementation for high-traffic/mission-critical applications.4. Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and software patterns 5. Ability to take projects from the requirements phase through successful deployment. 6. Must be a motivated self-starter who is able to work in a fast-moving startup environment with dynamic requirements and active customer support. 7. Ability to troubleshoot hardware, network, and software issues. 8. Know C# and PERL. Be equally at home with HTML, CSS and AJAX as with building scalable custom servers and services.Must be willing to start with a contract position. There is potential for this position to become full-time with benefits and stock options.
