Description
Software Engineer for MS Windows-based Command, Control and Communication system. The position will require requirements analysis, software design, C++ applications coding, software integration, hardware integration, testing, debug, and maintenance. Requires ability to manage self effectively to meet schedule commitments. Requires good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills to support work in a team environment.

Requirements:

Engineering/Computer Science degree (BSCE/BSEE/BSCS or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years C++ software experience, following structured development processes. Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: developing software on Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFCs) using Microsoft Visual Studio developing distributed applications using COM, DCOM or COM +, VoIP networking/applications requirements analysis using Rational Rose and design using UML, ClearCase, ClearQuest. In addition, specific experience with Database architecture/implementation/maintenance and/or development of audio manipulation applications and/or audio codecs and/or multicast and network protocols. Exposure to SEI-CMMI strongly preferred. Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance. Position is contract for 6-18 months with option for direct employment.
