ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Required qualifications
. Minimum 8 years industrial software development
. C++, MFC, and COM
. Knowledge of software development processes
. Experience with software for instrument systems and/or complex data analysis
. Technical leadership

Desired qualifications
. Life Sciences background
. C# and .NET 2.0
. Experience with .NET/COM migration and interoperability
. Experience with migrating an existing MFC Windows application to the .NET framework


The qualified candidate will work as part of a team of 2+ developers, testers, and application scientists. The person in this position should be knowledgeable of and will be responsible for all aspects of a software product life cycle. The software developed is primarily used by external customers. Consequently, a high level of customer focus both internal and external is required. The essential development activities will include Windows desktop application development using Visual Studio, C++, MFC, and COM.



QUALIFICATIONS:
< br>EDUCATION: Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 8 years of professional software development in Windows desktop application development using C++ and MFC. Professional development experience with .NET, C#, and DAO is desired.df-tc
