Description
Join Kronos' Cleburne, Texas engineering organization as a software engineer responsible for porting and integrating web-based applications to OS/390 and z/OS environments running DB2. Also responsible for the middle tier components and database integration as well as release builds. The candidate must be able to work with SQA Engineers and Database Administrators to analyze, identify and solve integration issues within the application, middle tier components, or database. Must a strong commitment to productivity, and possess a proven aptitude in analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex issues.

Technical Skills
- JAVA (J2EE), JSP
- HTML, JAVA Script
- SQL, DB2, DB2 Connect
- Installshield or Equivalent
- Crystal Reports
- OS/390 & z/OS operational skills a plus

Qualifications/Requirements
- BS in Computer Science
- Minimum 4 years SW Engineering
- Experience developing JAVA-based applications in DB2 mainframe environment
- Experience with middle tier component integration in DB2 mainframe environment
- Effective interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
