Description
Our client is currently looking for a focused, motivated ColdFusion/SQL Software Developer to work in the Software Development Department at its Berkeley based facility. You should be efficient and passionate about developing software as well as excited about learning some state of the art software applications. You will design, develop, deploy and support new and existing tools/features that add to the overall e-learning platform. Responsibilities Include: develop, test, deploy and support tools as specified by web development management, assist with Quality Assurance/testing on projects as specified by web development management, assist with planned and unplanned downtime, including notification of students, work in a version controlled environment (CVS), research new technologies and offer suggestions for additional R&D. Participate in engineering brainstorming sessions and engineer reports as specified by the web development management.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Professional experience with web application development, knowledge and prior experience with ColdFusion MX. The following is a plus: Experience working with XML, Flex 2, ActionScript. Knowledge and prior experience with MSSQL Server development, knowledge of Fuse Box and/or ColdFusion Components (CFCs), a willingness to learn and grow new programming languages and tools. Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills, professional documentation practices, and experience working within a team.
