Description
Our client is establishing a team to develop the next generation air defense system for DOD. This is a ground floor opportunity to join a state of the art technical organization. We are seeking a Software Engineer/Combat Systems to support combat systems development technical direction through developing open architecture prototypes, system filed test support, performance analysis and advanced concepts definition. Will perform software development of real time combat system prototypes employing open architecture, Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling and advanced Human Machine Interface (HMI) techniques. Other responsibilities include developing data analysis tools, performing combat system operational test and performing analysis of prototype and production systems, and developing new concepts and exploring requirements for real time combat systems. Requires BS in technical area (CS or EE) and 2+ years experience in Real-time software development, experience in object oriented software developing using C++ in a Unix/Linux environment. Prefer MS in CS and familiarity with open architecture mechanisms,as and system modeling techniques (UML), Linux or Ada. Candidates must be US citizens and eligible for a security clearance.
