Software Engineer - Embedded/VoIP Developer

Job Description

Leading high-tech company located in Columbia, South Carolina seeks a highly skilled and motivated software engineer is desired to work on a development team involving telephone and radio communications applications. This position will involve development of Embedded audio/data infrastructure. This individual must be a versatile engineer with interests in software process, design, coding and testing. This individual will need to excel in a team environment and possess well developed written and oral communication skills.

Job Requirements

• BS in Computer Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years experience in Embedded Software Development.
• Strong knowledge of Voice over IP (RTP, SIP, Codecs) applications.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded development.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP network protocols.

Optional Experience

• Experience of C/C++ on Microsoft Windows platform using Visual Studio.
• Experience in Microsoft Windows drivers/kernel-mode development.
• Experience in multi-threaded Windows development.

Local candidates are preferred, but will consider relocating candidates from anywhere in the US.
