SOFTWARE ENGINEERING PROCESS GROUP LEAD
El Segundo, CA
70 - 90 K / YR

Responsibilities:
-This position will coordinate and direct the activities of the Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) under the direction of the SEPG Steering Committee
-Will cause identification and documentation of processes and procedures for software development to be created in cooperation with the SEPG Steering Committee.
-Will lead process development projects and solicit resources to participate in the creation and updating of processes.
-Will verify fitness of proposed processes for ISO.
-Will foster and promote the processes throughout the Research division
-Will maintain all process assets & their availability via the PIT Website and provide monthly status reports of SEPG activities including process improvement opportunities.
-Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
-BS/BA in engineering, quality assurance, project management or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
-Six years of experience including software engineering, ISO certification, at least one year in project management and at least three years experience in software process development with CMM/I including experience at CMM/I L3.
-Must possess the skill knowledge and ability to: efficiently use the SEPG to develop process assets; implement process assets; effectively schedule and run meetings, delegate and follow-up consistently; align SEPG activities with the business objectives and ISO compliance; clearly communicate both verbally and in writing; produce clear technical documents; plan; provide comprehensive and flexible presentations
