This is an intermediate programmer position with an organization that values teamwork, hard work, integrity, and treating its employees fairly. General description follows:

Applies a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach for the software development of major portions of a system with some assistance from more senior software engineers and modifies existing applications, makes changes, designs reports and works on request for software services.

Assist in the design of software with clearly defined functional requirements with the help of more senior software engineers
Designs software modules with clearly defined functional requirements without the assistance from more senior software engineers.
Participates in group design discussions and provides concrete input to the design of complete product components.
Understands design discussions that pertain to the interconnectivity of product components and major product subsystems
Makes changes to, or creation of, modules that are completely designed.
Troubleshoots problems and makes repairs in familiar modules or product components
Changes need only be periodically reviewed by more senior software engineers prior to submission
Intermediate Proficiency in Software Development, Software Design, Software Testing, Software Configuration Mgt. Software Engineering Tools and Software Quality
Basic Proficiency in Software Engineering Process
Advanced Proficiency in Software Maintenance
