We are currently accepting resumes for a Software Engineer.

This position is Non Exempt.

Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.

- Seeking a creative software engineer to perform design, implementation, and unit testing of software subsystems.

- This person will direct a team through the implementation and unit testing of large subsystems.

- The interface subsystems are based on Sammi, a Motif interpreter.

- This individual will be responsible for interface designs to support the Sammi windows.

- Will use a C++ standard template library to take high level designs into software implementation.

- Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 8+ years experience in the field or related area. BS/MS in CS or EE

- Responsible for software and firmware designs and development to be used in medical diagnostic devices (both class II and III).

- Design of applications and system level software for systems with embedded microprocessors.

- Must efficiently and effectively: Design and implement programs in C/C++ and assembly language as required.

- Working effectively with others to define requirements and resolve issues during product development including microprocessor selection and interface.

- Coordinating and working effectively with other departments to provide software support as needed.

Experience and skills:

HW interface, Kernel software development, device drivers, (USB, LDC, SPI, I2C, seriel...) RTOS experience (NUCLUES desired), debuggers, Jtag, ARM9 processor, Motorola/Free Scale iMX family processor, ARM RealView ICE and Trace tools, C and Assembly code, BSP, power management, SW development for battery operated devices.
