Job Description:
Title: Software Engineer IV
Duration: 4 months
Location: Alameda, CA

Creative software engineer to perform design, implementation, and unit testing of software subsystems.
This person will direct a team through the implementation and unit testing of large subsystems.
The interface subsystems are based on Sammi, a Motif interpreter.
This individual will be responsible for interface designs to support the Sammi windows.
Will use a C++ standard template library to take high level designs into software implementation.
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 8+ years experience in the field or related area.
BS/MS in CS.

Work with software engineer to derive software testing requirements
Validate and verify software unit tests and test results with software engineers.
Generate comprehensive test plan for software project
Develop test strategies and test cases for system level testing and evaluation of the software.
Develop test scripts and test program for embedded systems to verify the system design.
Deploy appropriate test methods to design and develop test protocols.
Test and profile embedded system performance and reliability according the design parameters.
Perform software test to validate software module functions meet the design and requirements
Accurately generate software test result reports
Perform review of test plan , test protocols, and test results
Participate in software design review and code review processes
Use debugger or ICE to debug software when test failure result occurred (if required)
Involve in software test schedule and test plan to support software development and deliverable schedule
Work with test team on testing documentation/record keeping and control
Generate and organize testing documentations accurately and thoroughly to meet software process standard requirements
Work with test team to conform software development process standard
Provide support to the software project team for software release.
