We are seeking a Software Engineer I to participate as a member of a team devoted to the design, programming, enhancement, and maintenance of one or more related Group1 Software products using various platforms, applications and languages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems or on lower level issues of multiple products.
- Prepares documentation of development work.
- Conducts the unit testing for functionality and limits.
- Performs bug verification, release testing for assigned products.
- Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions to the problems.

Experience/Skills
Education/Experience:
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 1 - 3 years of technical experience in software programming or product support.

Required Skills:
- Thorough understanding of C, C++, and Java languages.
- Basic technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.
- Basic skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.
- Basic understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills.

Desirable (Not Required) Skills:
- GIS experience/background
- Agile/SCRUM
