Description
- Support the implementation of the "Trip Point" software update for the Financial Data Warehouse. - Schedule and plan assigned work. - Design,code, compile, and test software to address the requirement. - Demonstrate a knowledge of internal structure of SQL Server. - Prepares program specifications for assigned programming tasks. - Conducts design review and structured walk-through presentations. - Prepares program documentation in compliance with established departmental standards. - Investigate, analyzes, and resolves application problems. - Applies software engineering standards, processes, and techniques in assigned tasks. - Due to the sensitivity of the data, the candidate will be expected to not disclose any information observed during their assignment. - This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Requirements:

- 6-10 years of software development / application experience. - Strong skills required in the following areas: DTS, Excel VBA, cube structures, SQL Server, and BI reporting. - In addition, must exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Must also be fluent in standard IT development processes. - Macroscope or P+ knowledge desired. - This position requires travel. - High ethical standards required. - Drug Test and Background Check - US Citizenship or Green Carddf-tc
