DESCRIPTION: The candidate will identify and assess protocol changes, and develop software to process the protocols. The software is to be written primarily in C and be both ported to and tested in UNIX and MS Windows environments. Description:  As part of a small team, the Principal Engineer will assist in the development of a Web application. This application will link two separate metric systems together allowing users to access each system through one interface.
Requirements:   
•    Minimum of 8 years experience and a demonstrated understanding of the principles, theories, methods, and techniques of the specialized field of engineering, as well as a broad knowledge of the concepts, factors and conditions which influence the design, development, and operation of SIGINT and computer systems, and related products.
•    Experience shall include the organization, direction and coordination of complex engineering assignments; maintenance of configuration management systems; and significant exposure to computer networking technology and open systems.

Description:
This project provides full life cycle development (enhancements) and support for an operational system. This candidate will be a senior engineer on the technical team and will:
•    provide and support structured process improvement activities
•    provide technical engineering knowledge

•    participate in current and future proposed requirements and architecture reviews
